Do you charge a fee for your services?
We do not charge a fee for any of our services. Open Door Exchange is dedicated to ensuring that quality of furniture is accessible to all people, regardless of ability to pay.
Do I need to bring any paperwork or identification to my appointment?
No, we do not require any additional paperwork or identification. There is a short demographic form provided to you when you arrive, but no other information is needed.
Do you deliver furniture?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the ability to deliver furniture. You will need to bring a truck, van, or car to your appointment to transport your furniture home. Please plan ahead and make arrangements before your appointment.
Can furniture pieces be reserved for pickup at a later date?
Our furniture warehouse operates on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot reserve items for pickup at a later date.
What precautions are you taking to prevent the spread of COVID19?
We take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. Anyone entering our warehouse must wear a mask and have their temperature taken. We sanitize and disinfect the warehouse after every shift. All volunteers and clients answer health history screening questions before entering the warehouse.
Do you pickup furniture donations?
