Furniture Donation
Thank you for considering donating your furniture to
Open Door Exchange.
We hope to give your cherished items a new home!
Before you contact us, please review our donation guidelines. This will let you know whether or not we will be able to accept your furniture. It is important to us that our clients are given the dignity of having quality furniture.
Once you have reviewed our furniture guidelines, please request a pick-up here or call us at 631-743-6903.
All donors will be asked to provide photos and measurements of their items (if applicable).
Furniture Drop-Offs
We accept donation drop-offs on an APPOINTMENT ONLY basis. Please do not drop off furniture pieces unless you have an appointment.

**Our warehouse is monitored by security cameras. Dumping is strictly prohibited. **
Furniture Pickups
Our volunteers conduct furniture pickups twice a month, typically on on the 2nd and 4th Saturday. Furniture must be moved outside or in a garage for easy access.
To ensure the continued safety of our volunteers, we do not move furniture from within the home.

ODE's available pickup zone with our volunteers encompasses the area east to west between Patchogue-Mt Sinai Road and Route 111 in Smithtown. We do not do pickups south of the Long Island Expressway.

We do partner with ReSupply, a veteran operated nonprofit, to offer paid priority pick-ups throughout most of Suffolk County.
